Despite th
e lucky (NBC) 7/39 shoes, former NBC 7 employee Neysa Jama came up a bit short in the battle of the media outlets on February 9, 2014.Teams from KUSI, KNSD, One America News Network, and the U-T competed fiercely for bragging rights and a trophy at the SDABJ bowling party scholarship fundraiser.
While One America News Network walked away with all the prizes, from highest team total to lowest score, the real winners are the students who will be awarded scholarships on April 11 thanks to the more than $400 raised at the event. A fun time was had by all, including lucky raffle ticket holders who won items like Microsoft Office suite. SDABJ thanks Mira Mesa Lanes for their participation. Check out more pics here. Also, don’t forget to save the date, April 11, for the 2014 scholarship reception at National University. More details to follow.
