On Saturday, November 15, 2025, the San Diego Association of Black Journalists (SDABJ) hosted its highly anticipated Pro For A Day event at Southwestern College in Chula Vista. Aspiring journalists, students, and media professionals came together to experience hands-on training and mentorship from some of San Diego’s top media experts. The energy was palpable as participants worked on stories, honed their reporting skills, and networked with seasoned industry professionals.
